How we find a leak

We trace it to the source.

Finding a leak is about knowing where to look. We check the likely points one by one, taps, shut-offs, the pump, the pipe runs, until we find where the water is really coming from, not just where it shows up.

We check the whole picture

Water often appears far from where it starts. We work back through taps, shut-off valves, the pump and the pipe runs to find the actual source.

We open up where we need to

Where the leak is hidden behind a wall, under a floor or in a ceiling, we open up carefully to reach it, only where the trail leads.

We show you what we found

Once we have the source, we show you what is causing it and explain what it takes to fix, so you can decide with the full picture.

We fix it

In most cases we fix the leak once we find it. If it needs a part we do not carry, we quote you and come back to finish it.

Where leaks come from

The usual suspects.

Most household leaks trace back to a handful of common points. These are the ones we check first.

A slow drip at a tap or a weeping shut-off valve is one of the most common sources, and one of the easiest to miss.

Joints that have worked loose or a pipe that has started to weep, whether exposed under a sink or running behind a wall.

Connections and seals around the pump are a frequent leak point, and easy to overlook if you are not checking for it.

A leak in buried pipework shows up as damp or a rising bill with no visible source. Reaching it means digging, which we quote before starting.

Underground leaks are a bigger job. Reaching the pipe can mean digging soil or breaking concrete, so we always confirm the cost with you before any of that starts.

Clear pricing

AED 190 an hour, plus any materials.

Leak work is charged by the hour, because a tap that needs a washer and a leak buried under the floor are not the same job. You always know the rate up front, and we quote you before we start.

The straight answer

Will you find more once you open it up?

It is the fear everyone has before calling a leak in: that a small damp patch turns into the whole floor coming up. Here is the truth about how it usually goes.

Most leaks are at an easy-to-reach point

The large share of household leaks trace back to a tap, a valve or a visible joint, fixed without opening anything up. We will not talk it up into a big job when it is not one.

We only open what the trail leads to

If a leak is behind tiles or a wall, we open up only where we need to reach it, and we ask you first. If you would rather we did not open up, we locate it and advise, and you decide.

When it is a bigger job, we say so up front

Underground and concealed leaks can mean digging or breaking concrete. When that is where the trail leads, we tell you before we start, with the cost, so nothing lands as a surprise.

Worried about what we might find? Message us what you are seeing and we will tell you straight what it is likely to take, before anyone opens anything.

Before you book

The answers most people want first.

Labour is AED 190 per hour, plus any materials the fix needs. Tracing the source and fixing an easy-to-reach leak is usually quick, so you pay for the time it takes. We always quote you before starting, so you know the cost before any work happens.
We trace it visually to the source, checking the likely points one by one, taps, shut-off valves, the pump, and the pipe runs, until we find where the water is really coming from. Many leaks are found and confirmed this way without opening anything up.
Only where the leak leads there, and only after we have told you and you agree. Most leaks are at a reachable point. If a leak is behind a wall or buried underground, reaching it can mean opening up or digging, and we quote that before starting.
In most cases we do both. Once we trace the source, we quote you and fix it there and then where we can. If it needs a part we do not carry, we quote you and come back to finish it.
That is your call. Where a leak sits behind tiles or a wall and you would rather we did not open up, we locate it as far as we can and advise you on what it would take, and you decide how to proceed.
Yes. Our work carries a 90-day workmanship warranty. A new pump also carries its own manufacturer warranty, which we will explain when we fit it.

Stop the leak before it spreads.

Tell us what your water is doing and we will come and check it. Free inspection, a fixed quote first, and we reply till 11pm, seven days a week.
